Park Gradac

A walk up the beautiful old staircase of park Gradac will awaken the nobleman in you!

On approximately 17000 m2 with 3500 m2 of walking paths 375 pines, 122 cypresses, 2 palm trees and many other always green plants (oleanders, olives...) has found its place. Hidden behind the red roofs of stone houses, park Gradac is just 200m away from Dubrovnik's Old town.

The view from the park stretches from the beautiful Hilton hotel over the old town, fort Lovrjenac and eventually the blue sea and the horizon to Libertas Rixos hotel.

At the beginning of the park there is a small round fountain. A couple of years ago it had some goldfishes, but lately it hasn't been running so the water is not appropriate for (any) living creatures - but it does have some cute waterlilies!

Also, from park Gradac you can walk down to Beach Danče, a rocky beach famous especially among water polo players. They formed a club that competes in the annual competition of which the great finale is hosted in the Old port Dubrovnik.

Park stretches itself on the cliffs behind the residential zone and a road leading to the Old town, so it makes a beautiful green zone between houses and the sea.
