Danče Beach

Legendary beach behind the convent, where water polo club Jug originates. Mainly known for the convent.

On Dubrovnik's Dance beach you will mostly find locals enjoying the sunny day or playing water polo as a part of the Wild league. The beach itself is made of rocks and concrete terraces and there is no natural shade on it. If you are going to Dance, bring your own parasol or avoid staying there when the sun in at it's peak.

Just above the Dance beach there is a big parking lot, so parking isn't a problem, and a large green park Gradac which you can enjoy if the sun becomes too hot.

Dance is a beach for experienced swimmers and not recommended for children and inexperienced, because of the possible large waves coming from the open sea.
