Pag Island

It is well-known that the relief of Pag is monotonous as the island is covered chiefly with rocks, with a very heterogeneous vegetation, especially in bays, fields and on the moors. On the northern part of the island, there is an olive grove that even pre-dates Jesus Christ. In the prehistory period the Illyrians settled the island and in the 1st century the Romans built their fortifications of Cissa (Caska) and Novalis (Novalja).

Let's put natural beauties and historic facts aside for a moment and focus on a more popular matter. Pag and Zrce beach are all about parties and festivals that attract over thousand party-goers every year! During summer, you'll find several discotheques and beach bars open all time, featuring gigs by well-known house and trance DJs.

HIGHLIGHTS OF PAG ISLAND

Zrce beach is all for party-goers and features several excellent music festivals not to miss if you are looking to have fun in Croatia. For family orientated guest, there are more peaceful parts of Novalja, whole city of Pag and rest of the Pag Island.

WHEN TO VISIT PAG ISLAND

Pag Island is a summer destination, so you'll find most festivals, activities and open restaurants during July and August.
