Jadrolinija’s Ploče-Trpanj car ferry (Line 633) connects the Croatian mainland at Ploče with Trpanj on the Pelješac Peninsula throughout the year. The crossing takes about 60 minutes and is especially useful if you are heading toward Trpanj, Orebić, Korčula or western Pelješac.
The Pelješac Bridge gives drivers a road-only alternative, so this ferry is no longer the only practical way to reach the peninsula from the north. It is still a convenient shortcut if you are already near Ploče or prefer a one-hour break from driving.
Ticket rule: Line 633 is not a specific-departure reservation route. A ticket is valid for any departure on the printed travel date, subject to available capacity. Buying online saves time, but it does not reserve a vehicle place on one particular sailing.

- Rear-mounted bicycle: include the rack and bicycle in the vehicle’s total length.

Jadrolinija’s current local-line pet policy is more flexible than the older blanket “deck only” rule.
- Small pets: animals up to 8 kg may travel in passenger salons in an appropriate waterproof-bottom carrier up to 45 × 35 × 25 cm.
- Larger pets: remain in the permitted open-deck areas.
- Dogs: must be on a leash and wear a muzzle, except assistance dogs.

Ploče-Trpanj ferry or Pelješac Bridge?
The Pelješac Bridge now provides a continuous road route from the mainland onto Pelješac and toward Dubrovnik without passing through the former Neum border corridor. Whether the ferry makes sense depends mainly on your starting point, final destination and timetable.
