Can you drive or take a taxi to Panorama?
Yes. You do not have to use the cable car to eat at Panorama. Mount Srđ and the upper station can also be reached by road, so taxi or private-car access is possible.
The road above Bosanka is narrow and is not ideal for large vehicles, particularly during busy periods. For most first-time visitors, the cable car remains the simplest and most memorable way to reach the restaurant.
What happens if the cable car stops because of weather?
The Dubrovnik Cable Car can temporarily stop when wind exceeds its safety limits or when there is lightning or other severe weather. This matters if your restaurant reservation depends on travelling up and down by cable car.
