Avenue Mall is a popular shopping and entertainment centre in Novi Zagreb, with more than 100 stores, a nine-screen CineStar cinema, Food Palace restaurants, children's entertainment and more than 900 parking spaces. It is easy to reach from central Zagreb by tram and offers three hours of free parking for visitors arriving by car.

Is Avenue Mall worth visiting?
Avenue Mall is a good choice if you want a conventional shopping-mall experience without travelling too far from central Zagreb. It combines fashion, footwear, beauty, electronics and everyday shopping with restaurants, a large cinema and children's entertainment.
It is smaller than Arena Centar, so Arena is generally better if shopping is the main purpose of your day. Avenue Mall works particularly well if you want a few hours of shopping, lunch and entertainment or are already spending time in Novi Zagreb.

What shops are in Avenue Mall?
Avenue Mall has more than 100 stores covering fashion, footwear, sports, cosmetics, electronics, home products, jewellery and everyday services. The centre includes major international and Croatian retailers alongside smaller specialist stores. Examples include H&M, dm, Müller, Konzum and a broad selection of fashion, footwear and lifestyle brands.
CineStar Novi Zagreb
The CineStar multiplex on the second floor, covering around 3,500 square metres and with nine cinema halls with 1,927 seats. Cinema visitors currently receive four hours of free parking, one hour more than the standard Avenue Mall parking allowance. The cinema currently operates daily from around 09:00 until midnight.
Food Palace, restaurants and cafes
Avenue Mall's main restaurant area is the Food Palace on the second floor. The current mix includes fast food, Asian food, burgers, kebabs and other casual dining options. Businesses include names such as KFC, McDonald's, Umami, WokMe and Burger Bros.
Food Palace businesses have their own opening hours. Some close around 21:00, while others remain open until 22:00, 23:00 or midnight. The centre also has cafes outside the main food court, several of which stay open later than the retail stores.
Avenue Mall with children
Avenue Mall is a practical option for families because it combines shopping, cinema, food and dedicated children's entertainment.
Amazinga Mini Kids currently operates every day from 09:00-21:00, including Sundays. The play area is designed for younger children and charges separately based on the length of the visit. Baby-changing facilities are also available inside the shopping centre.

Sunday shopping is limited to selected working Sundays. When retail stores are permitted to open on Sunday, most currently operate from 10:00-21:00. Restaurants, cafes, cinema and entertainment businesses can operate on Sundays even when most retail stores are closed.
Parking at Avenue Mall
Avenue Mall has more than 900 parking spaces in its underground garage. The first three hours are free. After the free period, current daytime parking from 07:00-22:00 costs €2 per additional hour. Between 22:00 and 07:00, a separate overnight tariff currently applies.
CineStar visitors receive four hours of free parking. Electric-vehicle charging points are also available.

By tram
Tram lines 7 and 14 provide the simplest public-transport connection to Avenue Mall.

Avenue Mall is served by a large number of Zagreb city bus routes, including lines 109, 166, 219, 220, 221, 222, 229, 268, 310, 311, 313, 330 and 607.
By taxi or bicycle
A taxi stand is located beside the southern entrance. Bicycle parking is available near the entrances, and there is also a Bajs public bicycle station close to the main entrance.

Pets at Avenue Mall
Dogs and cats are allowed in Avenue Mall subject to centre rules.
- Dogs must be kept on a lead no longer than 150 cm unless carried or placed in a suitable carrier.
- Cats must be transported in an appropriate carrier.
- Large and potentially dangerous dogs must wear a muzzle.
- Individual shops and restaurants decide whether pets are permitted inside their premises.
Combine Avenue Mall with the Museum of Contemporary Art
The Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb is also in Novi Zagreb, making the two easy to combine.
A practical half-day plan is to visit MSU, then continue to Avenue Mall for lunch, shopping or a film.
