Arena Centar is one of Zagreb's largest shopping and entertainment centres, with more than 200 retail units, restaurants and cafes, CineStar Arena IMAX and 3,000 free parking spaces. Located in the south-western part of Zagreb, it is a good choice if you want several hours of shopping, food and entertainment in one place.
2026 update: Arena Centar is undergoing a phased refurbishment. A new, larger food court is already open on the second floor, while some shops are being renovated or temporarily relocated.

Is Arena Centar worth visiting?
Yes, if you want a large modern shopping centre with fashion, electronics, beauty products, supermarket shopping, restaurants and entertainment in one place. Arena Centar is much larger than city-centre shopping options such as Centar Kaptol, but it is also farther from Zagreb's historic centre. It makes most sense if shopping is one of the main purposes of your day or if you are arriving by car and want easy free parking.

New food court, restaurants and cafes
Arena Centar opened a new and larger food court on the second floor in 2026 as part of the centre's refurbishment.
The food court has around 600 seats and a mix of fast-food, casual dining and snack options. The wider centre also has restaurants and cafes outside the food court, so food is available throughout much of the day.

CineStar Arena IMAX
CineStar Arena IMAX is one of the centre's main entertainment attractions and operates later than the retail stores.

Sunday store opening varies during the year. From September 6, 2026, the centre currently plans to open its stores on Sundays through the end of the year, except November 1.
Parking at Arena Centar
Arena Centar has 3,000 free parking spaces in garages connected with the centre's entrances and in the outdoor parking area in front of the building. About 150 spaces are reserved for visitors with disabilities. The maximum permitted parking time is currently 24 hours.
How to get to Arena Centar
Arena Centar is at Vice Vukova 6 in the south-western part of Zagreb, beside Arena Zagreb.
By tram
Tram lines 7 and 14 connect the Arena area with central Zagreb and Novi Zagreb.

From Zagreb Main Railway Station
Bus 234 runs from Zagreb Main Railway Station toward the Arena area. The Remetinečki Gaj stop is close to the centre.
Other bus routes
Bus 222 operates from Žitnjak to the Arena Centar stop, while bus 112 also stops directly at Arena Centar.
Several additional buses from Savski most stop at Naletilićeva, around a 10-minute walk from the shopping centre.
By bicycle or taxi
Bicycle racks are available beside each entrance, and there is a taxi stand in front of Arena Centar.
Dogs and practical facilities
Arena Centar welcomes dogs, subject to centre rules.
- One dog is permitted per owner.
- Dogs must be kept on a leash.
- Small dogs may also be carried or transported in a basket.
- Large or potentially dangerous dogs must wear a muzzle.
- Dogs should not be left unattended in the centre's corridors.
The centre also provides baby-changing facilities, lockers and bicycle parking.
