Fast passenger catamarans from Dubrovnik (Gruž port) to Island Šipan, Island Mljet (Sobra/Polače), Korčula and Lastovo (Ubli). Below you’ll find the official 2026 timetables and price lists for TP Line state fast passenger lines 9807 and 9808.

These are passenger-only catamarans (not car ferries). Timetables are seasonal and can change, so use the official PDFs linked on this page to double-check close to your travel date.

9807 vs 9808: which catamaran should you take?

Both TP Line fast passenger lines connect Dubrovnik with Mljet (Sobra), Korčula and Lastovo (Ubli). The main difference is the route pattern: 9807 adds extra stop(s) at Šipan and Polače (Island Mljet) while 9808 keeps to the main port connections. Always check the tables below because some stops run only in certain periods.

  • Line 9807 route: Dubrovnik - Šipanska Luka (Šipan) - Sobra (Mljet) - Polače (Mljet) - Korčula - Ubli (Lastovo) (and vice versa)
  • Line 9808 route: Dubrovnik - Sobra (Mljet) - Korčula - Ubli (Lastovo) (and vice versa)

Choose line 9807 if you need:

Choose line 9808 if you want:

  • A more direct connection (fewer stops)
  • Travel mainly between Dubrovnik, Sobra (Mljet), Korčula and Ubli (Lastovo)
  • A simple "main ports" route structure that’s easy to plan around

Tip: If you are unsure which port you need on Mljet, start with Sobra (main ferry port) unless your plan specifically says Polače (Polače is ideal for immediate access to the National Park).

How to buy tickets and board

TP Line tickets for lines 9807 and 9808 can be purchased online (recommended) or, if seats remain, at ticket sale points and on the vessel before departure.

Option 1 (recommended): buy online

Book online, then board with your e-ticket.

  1. Select your route (9807 or 9808), date and departure.
  2. Complete payment and save the e-ticket/confirmation on your phone.
  3. At boarding, show the e-ticket to the crew (printing is not required).

Option 2: buy at a sales point or on board

  • Tickets can be sold on board subject to availability.
  • In peak season (especially July and August), seats can sell out—secure tickets in advance online.
  • If you prefer buying in person, use official ticket sale points where available (see TP Line’s ticket sales page for locations and hours).

Dubrovnik (Gruž ferry port)

TP Line catamarans for Mljet, Korčula and Lastovo depart from Dubrovnik’s main ferry port in Gruž. Arrive early, check the pier information on the day, and keep your ticket ready for boarding.

Šipanska Luka (Šipan)

This is the Elaphiti Islands stop used by line 9807. Be at the boarding point at least 15 minutes before departure.

Mljet: Sobra vs Polače

Sobra is the main ferry port on Island Mljet and the most common arrival point. Polače is served by line 9807 in certain periods and can be a better pick if your accommodation or plans are in the national-park side of the island.

Korčula (port note for bad weather)

In Korčula, TP Line notes that the catamaran can depart from a different place (west port) in case of bad weather. If it’s windy, arrive earlier and follow local announcements and crew instructions.

Ubli (Lastovo)

Ubli is Lastovo’s main ferry port. If you are continuing to another settlement (for example Lastovo town), organise your onward transport ahead of time outside peak season.

Luggage, bikes, pets and onboard rules

TP Line catamarans on lines 9807 and 9808 are passenger-only and have limited space for luggage and oversized items. The key rules below come from TP Line’s official FAQ and terms.

Luggage allowance

  • Standard allowance: up to 20 kg of luggage per passenger.
  • Extra luggage: additional luggage may be accepted only if there is space onboard. If you want to increase your chance of boarding with excess luggage, TP Line advises buying an additional regular ticket.
  • Handling: you load/unload your luggage yourself, following crew instructions, and you are responsible for how it is stored during the trip.

Bikes and oversized items

  • These lines are designed for passenger transport and are not intended for bicycles or cargo.
  • The captain may allow a bicycle or oversized item to be carried as personal luggage only if there is enough space and it is safe to transport.

Pets

  • Small pets in the салон (indoor area): only in a carrier with a waterproof bottom, max size 45 × 35 × 25 cm.
  • Weight limit: the total weight of the pet + carrier must not exceed 8 kg.
  • Where it stays: the carrier must be kept under the seat or on your lap (one pet carrier per passenger).
  • Dogs: must be muzzled and on a leash (service dogs are exempt).
  • Larger pets: transport is generally not allowed unless the vessel has reserved/charged boxes on the open deck (availability depends on the vessel).

Onboard notes

  • Passengers travel in an air-conditioned indoor passenger area.
  • It is not possible to go to the open deck during the voyage.
  • Carriage of dangerous items (flammable/explosive/toxic substances, weapons, etc.) is prohibited.

Ticket sales

Dubrovnik: in front of the ship in Gruž harbor (Petka pier), 30 min. (up to 1 hour during high season) before departure or online.

Šipanska luka: in front of the ship – 30 min. before departure

Sobra: in front of the ship – 30 min. before departure

Polače: in front of the ship – 30 min. before departure

Korčula: agency Korkyra info – from 10 AM to 4 PM, Tel: +385 (0)20 711750, Trg Kralja Tomislava 3.

Lastovo: on the ship – 30 min. before departure

Bicycles are considered cargo and as such shouldn't be allowed to be taken onboard ships sailing on high-speed lines. However, captain has a right to decide (just before departure, based on current situation) if bicycle can be taken aboard and at what cost.

Planning tips by destination

Lines 9807 and 9808 are excellent for island-hopping, but schedules are seasonal and connections can be tight. Use the timetable tables above to match your travel date, then plan your onward transport (especially on Mljet and Lastovo).

Mljet: Sobra vs Polače

  • Sobra is the main ferry port and the safest default choice if you are unsure where to arrive.
  • Polače can be more convenient if your plan is focused on the national-park side of the island (west/central area).
  • Public buses: Mljet has bus routes starting from Sobra, including a route towards Pomena via Polače and Goveđari (timetables can vary by season). Check local bus times before relying on them for a same-day connection.
  • Day trip tip: A Dubrovnik–Mljet day trip is only realistic on dates when the timetable gives you enough time on the island. If in doubt, plan an overnight stay.

Korčula: east port vs west port (bad weather)

  • Catamarans normally use Korčula’s main port, but TP Line notes that in bad weather boarding can be moved to the western shore (west port).
  • If it’s windy, arrive earlier and confirm the boarding point at the sales point or with staff at the port.
  • If you are connecting onwards (bus/taxi/another ferry), leave a buffer—catamarans can be delayed or cancelled in strong winds.

Lastovo: plan the Ubli connection

  • Ubli is Lastovo’s main port, but most accommodation is not in the port area—plan an onward transfer.
  • Local buses connect Ubli with settlements such as Lastovo town and Pasadur; timetables can change seasonally, so check the latest schedule before you arrive.
  • Outside peak season, services can be less frequent—if you arrive late, a pre-booked transfer (taxi/host pickup) is often the easiest option.
Weather note: Fast catamarans are more sensitive to wind and sea conditions than car ferries. If you have a flight or fixed appointment, plan a buffer day or choose an earlier sailing where possible.

Alternatives if the timetable does not suit

If line 9807/9808 times don’t match your plans (or if weather disrupts fast catamarans), these are the most practical alternatives for reaching Mljet, Korčula and Lastovo.

Mljet (with a car): car ferry via Pelješac

If you need to travel with a vehicle, the main option is the car ferry between Pelješac and Mljet (Sobra).

Pelješac ↔ Mljet car ferry (timetable & prices)

Korčula (with a car): Orebić ↔ Korčula

For vehicles, the standard approach is the Orebić car ferry to Korčula (near Korčula Town).

Orebić ↔ Korčula car ferry (timetable & prices)

Lastovo (with a car): Split ↔ Korčula ↔ Lastovo

If Dubrovnik catamarans are not operating on your date, you can reach Ubli (Lastovo) via Split with a car-ferry connection via Korčula.

Split ↔ Korčula ↔ Lastovo car ferry (timetable & prices)

Other fast ferries and catamarans (seasonal)

Depending on the month, other fast services may suit you better than lines 9807/9808. These pages cover the most common seasonal alternatives.

Always confirm the latest timetable close to departure, especially in windy conditions.

Reminder: Fast catamarans are more sensitive to wind and sea conditions than car ferries. If you have a flight or fixed appointment, plan a buffer or choose an earlier sailing where possible.

FAQ

Is this a car ferry?

No. TP Line’s vessels on lines 9807 and 9808 transport passengers only (no cars or motorcycles). For vehicles, use the car-ferry alternatives listed in Alternatives.

What is the difference between line 9807 and 9808?

Both connect Dubrovnik with Mljet (Sobra), Korčula and Lastovo (Ubli), but 9807 adds additional stops (Šipanska Luka and Polače in certain periods), while 9808 is the more direct route focused on the main ports. See the quick comparison in 9807 and 9808 sections.

Does the catamaran run year-round?

Both lines have seasonal timetables (different periods within the year). Always check the correct 2026 table for your travel date, and re-check the official PDF close to departure as timetables can change.

Are there days when line 9808 does not operate in 2026?

Yes. The official 2026 PDF notes that line 9808 does not operate on 1 January, 20 April, and 25 December.

Where does the catamaran depart from in Dubrovnik?

From Dubrovnik’s main ferry port in Gruž. TP Line asks passengers to arrive at the boarding place at least 15 minutes before departure. See all boarding points in Ports and boarding points.

Can I buy tickets at the port or on board?

Yes, but only if seats remain. TP Line states that tickets can be bought at ticket sale points and on the vessel before departure if there are available seats. They also note that tickets are sold on board subject to availability and recommend buying online in July and August.

Do I need to print my ticket if I buy online?

No. TP Line states you can board by showing the e-ticket to the crew.

How much luggage can I bring?

TP Line allows 20 kg of luggage per passenger. Additional luggage cannot be purchased as a weight add-on, but the crew may allow extra luggage if there is room onboard. If you want to improve your chances of boarding with excess luggage, TP Line advises buying an additional regular ticket.

Can I bring a bicycle?

TP Line states their vessels are not designed for transporting bicycles or cargo, but the captain can allow a bicycle (or other oversized luggage) as personal luggage if there is enough space and it is safe to transport. If travelling with a bike, arrive early and be prepared for the possibility that it cannot be accepted on a full sailing.

Can I travel with a pet?

Yes, under conditions. TP Line’s rules allow small pets in a carrier with a waterproof bottom (max 45 × 35 × 25 cm), with the carrier + pet weighing no more than 8 kg. The carrier must be kept under the seat or on your lap (one carrier per passenger). Dogs must be muzzled and on a leash (service dogs are exempt). Larger pets are generally not permitted unless the vessel has suitable deck boxes available.

What happens if the catamaran is delayed or cancelled due to weather?

Fast catamarans can be affected by wind. TP Line’s general terms note that in cases such as bad weather or technical issues when the service cannot be performed, the ticket may remain valid for travel within 72 hours of the line being re-established. For travel-critical days, plan a buffer and check updates close to departure.

Where can the catamaran depart from in Korčula during bad weather?

TP Line notes that in Korčula the catamaran can depart from a different place (west port) in case of bad weather. If it is windy, arrive earlier and confirm the boarding point locally.

Why can’t I buy tickets online sometimes?

TP Line states that online purchase can be unavailable when the vessel’s capacity is reached. In that case, choose another departure (if available) or try in-person purchase only if seats remain.
