Island Mljet Hotels and Places to Stay
Where to stay on Island Mljet
The Island of Mljet boasts a variety of accommodation options, situated in its picturesque villages and secluded bays. Privately owned apartments and rooms constitute the majority of accommodations on the island, with the sole exception of Hotel Odisej. Mljet is an ideal destination for those seeking a peaceful getaway in unspoiled nature. The Mljet National Park, covering one third of the island, is renowned for its unique flora and fauna.
In addition, there is a wide selection of excellent apartments and rooms available throughout the island, including within the National Park itself.
Hotel Odisej is a three-star waterfront hotel in Pomena, surrounded by the forests of Mljet National Park. As the only hotel on Mljet, its strongest advantage is location: guests can combine National Park walks and cycling with sea swimming and easy access to seasonal passenger ferries arriving in Pomena.
This is best viewed as a nature-focused island hotel rather than a luxury resort. Travelers who value immediate access to Mljet National Park and a waterfront base are likely to appreciate it most, while those prioritising contemporary resort facilities may prefer a different type of accommodation.

Villa Radulj is a small guesthouse in Kozarica, a quiet fishing village on the northern coast of Mljet. It is best suited to travelers looking for a peaceful island base, sea views and a beach nearby rather than hotel-style resort facilities.
The pebbly shore is around a short walk from the property, while the on-site restaurant is a useful advantage in tiny Kozarica. Mljet National Park is farther west, so having a car makes this location considerably more practical if you plan to explore the island extensively.

Apartments Linda is a small three-star apartment property in Polače, one of the coastal settlements inside Mljet National Park. The sea is only a few steps away, while a pebble beach, restaurants and everyday services are all close at hand.
The location is particularly useful for independent travelers who want a simple self-catering base for exploring the National Park without staying in a conventional hotel. Polače is also one of the official entrances to the park and has seasonal passenger-ferry connections.
