The Ivan Meštrovic Palace in Split was built between 1931 and 1939 and is based on plans that Meštrovic himself designed. It houses most of the sculptor’s works within its permanent display.

The Gallery houses 192 sculptures, 583 drawings, 4 paintings, 291 architectonic plans and 2 furniture sets Eight bronze sculptures are exhibited in the park in front of the building and 2 sculptures and 28 wooden reliefs are placed in the nearby Kastelet. It also exhibits 168 works of art owned by Ivan Mestrovic's heirs.
