Bačvice beach: the most famous beach in Split

A popular promenade and a sandy beach in the city centre of Split, so big a thousand people can find its place in the sun.

Just a kilometer from the city center, Bačvice beach tends to get very crowded. Reason? Its location and the shallow water which is great for playing the local "sport" called picigin.
